Preena Soni is the founder of Social Good Advisory, a mission-driven consulting firm focused on advancing social impact through strategic partnerships, fundraising, and cross-sector collaboration.
Based in the US for the past 15 years, Preena brings over a decade of experience working at the intersection of philanthropy, community development, and climate action. Her work spans both national and global contexts — from grassroots initiatives in rural India to institutional giving strategies for leading nonprofits in the US.
Prior to launching Social Good Advisory, Preena held leadership roles at RoundGlass Foundation, Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), and the American India Foundation (AIF). She has led multimillion-dollar fundraising campaigns, designed donor engagement strategies, and cultivated powerful public-private-philanthropic partnerships across sectors.
Preena holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Adelaide (Australia) and a Bachelor’s in Economics (Honors) from the University of Rajasthan (India). Her global academic and professional experiences give her a unique systems-level understanding of development, equity, and scale.
She is an active member of professional communities including Advisors in Philanthropy (AIP) and Neythri, where she engages with a network of leaders committed to equity, innovation, and transformational impact.
